A luxury chalet in Chamonix: the art of the winter stay

In Chamonix, every chalet promises the view. Few keep the promise of a stay: one in which you return soaked from the snow at four in the afternoon and everything, the fire, the bath, the table, seems to have been prepared without anyone having asked.
Exposure before floor area
A south facing chalet keeps its light until late afternoon; a poorly oriented one loses the sun as early as two o'clock in January. That single fact changes the experience of a stay more than an extra two hundred square metres.
Choosing the right moment in the season
- December: the festive atmosphere, the resort in full swing.
- January: the surest snow, the valley found calm again.
- March: long days, skiing in the morning and the terrace in the afternoon.

Service makes the difference
